Jimmy Moduk

Jimmy lived in Central Arnhem Land and frequently travelled to Milingimbi for shopping and selling arts and crafts. Over the years, he worked in various locations around Darwin and Arnhem Land before beginning his painting career in Maningrida. His medium includes ochre on bark and ochres on Arches paper, with subjects such as the Duwa (Honey Story) and the file snake. His works are featured in several prominent collections, including the Art Gallery of South Australia, the National Gallery of Australia, and international institutions like the Linden Museum in Germany and the Troppen Museum in the Netherlands.
