Phillip Morris Larjarra, an artist and singer, lives with his wife and children at Jimardi Outstation. From a young age, Phillip painted birds, inspired by their connection to the songline of Gomarla, the white egret, and other birds. He began singing in his mid-20s to 30s, learning from his grandfather, Johnny Guybaka. Johnny taught Phillip songs and ceremonial knowledge to carry forward after his passing, ensuring the traditions would be shared with their children and grandchildren. As part of the Yirrchinga people, Phillip is tied to the Balkarranga, Warrawarra, and Gamarl clans, who reside in the remote outstations of the Maningrida community.
