- Artwork story
- Andrea Adamson was born near Alice Springs and is the daughter of Kukika Adamson, granddaughter of Tiger Palpatja, and the niece of Rini Tiger – all acclaimed artists in their own right. Andrea paints in a highly unique style often
leaving ‘negative’ space to depict significant astronomical features and Dreamtime stories such as the Seven Sisters Dreamtime (Kungkaralpa), pictured here in the Milky Way.
Amata is an Aboriginal community situated in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunyjatjara Lands in the far Northwest of South Australia. Amata is situated
amongst the picturesque Musgrave Ranges, approximately 120km south of Uluru and 500km southwest of Alice Springs.
