Artwork story
This painting is of Wanapiyi, country west of Yuendumu, sacred to Makamarra/Jakamarra and Napurrurla/Jupurrurla skin groups. In the Dreaming one cheeky Jakamarra was watching women digging for bush yams. The women were wrong skin (forbidden) to him, but his eyes were full of lustful intentions. He chased after the women but they hid in a cave.
