- Artwork story
- Billy Benn's painting celebrated the land and the artist's knowledge of it. The country he painted was very special to him as it was the country of his birthplace. Having moved away from his birth country, he painted it from memory. He kept his home close to his heart by devotedly painting every part of it: he wanted to paint every hill from his country and then he stopped, he would return home.
