- This work was seminal in the artist's developing style. Following a brief stay in Papunya, Western Desert during July 2000, he was inspired to produce this image of the phenomena that is 'sexy dancing'. During sports weekend, outlying communities come to Papunya to participate in a weekend of excitement. The men contest in an AFL knockout, the children contest in running races and the kungkas attract boyfriends!
