- In this painting the sinuous lines with adjacent footprints show the movement of the possum ancestors within the area of the artist's homeland. The sinuous lines show the mark made in the sand by the possum’s tail. Paddy Carol travelled extensively promoting Aboriginal art during the 1980s and 1990s. His designs were featured on a special $10 note issued during Australia’s Bicentennial in 1988 and in 1991 he visited America to meet with First Nations artists.
