- Duwari, a man from outside the tribe, comes in trying to be with a widow. Another man stands in his way, holding a blocking stick to keep him back. She has lost her husband, and under Aboriginal law a widow must wait a number of years before she can remarry. The blocking stick is the warning for him to stay away.
