- Artwork story
- Simon has painted the area around where he was born although focusing on the story of the Wanampi (Water snake) that comes out of the rockhole at Kanpa and Jenning. The snake's eyes are shown in the centre of the rockhole and then its path is shown heading out into the claypan country at Waluwalutjara. Around the outside of the painting sandhills are shown and Simon has also painted the following significant places from this same immediate area; Katutja, Baltju, Muntabii and Lingka. In the centre of the painting the snake is shown laying down looking back after coming out through a blowhole. This blowhole is not named.
