Artwork story: This is a collaboration between six senior Papunya women: Yakari Napaltjarri, Takeria Napaltjarri, Payu Npaltjarri, Yukultji, Kim Naparula & Yalti. With so much knowledge held between the artists the subject matter of the paintings is at once dense and obscure. Each artist focused on their area of birth. However, in naming the places shown each artist is also orienting the viewer depending on the level of knowledge held by the viewer.
