EXHIBITIONS
Since 1981, Adrian and his team have curated over 400 Indigenous art exhibitions across Australia and internationally, showcasing works by Aboriginal artists and community groups in cities such as Tokyo, Paris, New York, Santa Fe, Vancouver, and many more.
Notable international touring exhibitions include O Tempo Dos Sonhos (South America, 2016-2021), Black Art White Walls (Australia, 2016), Gelam Nguzu Kazi (Australia & USA, 2000-2004), Yilpinji: Love Magic and Ceremony (Australia, USA & Europe, 2002-2003) and New Tracks Old Land (Australia & USA, 1992-1996).
Following his sale of Cooee Art gallery in 2023, Adrian founded Newstead Art and continues to curate exhibitions online, with works available for viewing by private appointment.
